Class Descriptions
Dancers are highly encouraged to take classes in multiple disciplines as they grow and mature to find which style of dance best suits them. We train our students to be well rounded dancers whom are able to audition or have the skills needed in their future dance endeavors and maintain healthy lifestyles.
PreBallet 3-4 years
Our Pre-Ballet classes are for our littlest dancers who dream of becoming ballerinas! Students MUST be age 3 or 4 during current semester registration to enroll for this class and fully potty trained! Being fully potty trained shows that your child is aware of their body and able to use motor development necessary for the class and able to effectively communicate with their instructors. This class is for little ones to learn basic ballet movement and form while integrating Pre-School structure and education. Our unique program instills a child’s development with the practicing of naming of colors, shapes, counting, refining motor skills, and practicing imagination, all while having fun!! This class uses exciting movement for their age group to learn simple ballet steps and basic ballet terminology. This class also teaches class etiquette and discipline so all students can have a safe and fun learning environment in their classroom. We reward student’s behavior and may remove student/s who are disruptive. If a student/s is unwilling to participate, they will be asked to leave for the day and may return for the next class

* Stickers are given at the end of our PreBallet classes as a reward to dancers who participate and follow instructions. Three warnings are given to a dancer if they are interrupting, misbehaving, or unable to follow directions in their class. If three warnings are given to a dancer, they will not receive a sticker at the end of class and parents will be instructed as to how to correct their child for the next class. If four warnings are given to a dancer, they are not prepared for class and will be asked to leave for the day. It is critical for students to behave in class sessions so that all students will get the proper attention and training and be able to be safe with other students. It is not fair for a teacher to be focused on one child and their behavior rather than the whole class in being able to learn and have fun together. We have found that most children come to class upset due to lack of sleep/nap and hungry. Please make sure they have their naps and eat before class if needed and to use the bathroom for maximum class time.
